With God All Things Are Possible

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” - Matthew 19:26

Oftentimes life gets complicated and busy enough that we may feel there is no way we could accomplish our dreams. Maybe you’re dreaming of becoming a doctor, but the hard work ahead scares you, maybe you’re in a job that is a stepping stone to your dream career and you’re wondering when you’re gonna get that promotion, or you wish you would change careers, but you’re thinking it’s too late. It’s not too late to believe that God has the power to bring those dreams to pass. 

Many things seem impossible when we look through the eyes of flesh, and we allow ourselves to get stuck in the comfort zone, but if we were to see the world through God’s eyes, we would say what Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Notice it does not say some things are possible or a few things are possible, but that all things are possible with God. How much should this encourage us to chase after that dream that God has placed deep inside our hearts?

One of my good friends told me how he dreams of one day building a hospital in an underdeveloped country. What a great dream this is! How else could we bring Jesus to a hurting world and tell them the good news of salvation if we let those kind of dreams die?

Our Creator has placed dreams like the one I mentioned deep inside each one of us, dreams that are meant to bring justice where there is no justice, to bring peace where there is no peace and to bring salvation where there is none. The question is WHAT ARE YOU DOING ABOUT YOUR DREAM?
