"'Child of Mine' is a humbling song. To sing it from the standpoint of the Lord is kind of a weird thing. I've never done that before in a song. I was actually a little reluctant to sing the song because it was from the Lord's standpoint. And then when I got into the studio, it was like hey, wait, even though this is very humbling and I'm a little scared, you gotta do what you gotta do. And I think in the end, it turned out to be a very powerful song to me." -- Jaci Velasquez
